Happy Halloween! And welcome to this Friday’s Albert the Alien where a rivalry within the school appears to have begun!

Trying to steal some thunder from Albert’s recent victory, winning back the mascot from their rival school, The Mammoths, Flip and Patricia formally announce they are running for Homecoming King and Queen! However, throwing a wrench in their plans (probably not intentionally), Miranda suggests Albert run for Homecoming King!

This of course makes Flip and Patricia’s plan backfire in their faces completely.

When I was writing this story, I thought it would be funny if Albert thought being a Homecoming King was an actual ruling title in the school. Like someone would elect an actual ruler. What would this ruler be in charge of? What would they do and how long would they rule for? This concept tickled me quite a bit – and we’ll be playing with it in the coming chapters.

There’s only three more pages left in this chapter, so come back next week Wednesday and Friday for more Albert the Alien!

October is the final month to pre-order your copy of the Albert the Alien graphic novel we successfully funded on Kickstarter. Interested in getting your hands on a copy (or another copy)? Click the link to get one today.

I’m premiering the Albert the Alien book at Mid-Ohio Con right now in Columbus, OH. You can find me at table B46! If you ordered a copy of the book on Kickstarter (or pre-ordered it), you can pick up your copy at the show. If you haven’t pre-ordered it yet, you can buy a copy from me directly!
