Albert The Alien

It’s Friday, and Wally has taken the spotlight in today’s Albert the Alien.

It’s important to have a strong antagonist – not a bad guy, exactly, but a dude who’s not entirely good – who challenges your hero characters. And Wally fits the bill perfectly. He’s kind of like classic superhero villains (Lex Luthor, Magneto, etc) in that he doesn’t see himself as a villain. He sees himself as the most popular kid in school. A protector. In his mind, he is the hero. But we all know better, don’t we. 😉

I remember at the end of lunch when you had leftovers on your tray, some kids would just dump everything onto the tray and make a disgusting concoction right there on the table. So after creating the Blobite – a food that takes on the flavor and properties of whatever you want – I thought to myself, “What if you did this disgusting concoction on the Blobite?”
