Meanwhile, back at Heston Heights Middle School, since most of the kids are away at “Bring your kids to work day,” the Principal, VP, and janitor start cleaning up all of the robots from the takeover occurring in the previous chapter.

The alien school supplies had made a lot of these robots (both hall monitors, and substitute teachers), and they need to do SOMETHING with them. Right now, it’s cleaning them up and getting them out of sight – and that means the secret room below the gym.
